A. E. STONE EMPLOYEES SAVE LOCAL WOMANS HOUSE FROM FIRE

Linwood, NJ -- On
November 9, 2006, these three fine gentlemen and two others not
pictured here saved a local woman's home from burning. The crew smelled something burning while working in front of a home on
Lincoln Avenue, Linwood, New Jersey. Immediately after smelling the
smoke, fire was observed flicking out of the home's dryer vent. George
Taylor and Bill Crawford ran to the back door of the home, opened the
unlocked door, then ran inside and unplugged the burning dryer. Bill
and George then pulled the burning dryer away from the wall and
removed it from the home. In the meantime, Joe Stevenson contacted 911
for emergency fire service. The fire company arrived at the scene
within a few minutes of his call. The quick actions of the entire crew
prevented a catastrophe for the homeowner. Needless to say the
homeowner, who was not home at the time of the fire, was very
appreciative of their efforts. A. E. Stone wishes to commend your
actions and we want you to know are proud to have you as employees of
our company. Pictured from left to right are, Joe King, George Taylor
and Joe Stevenson. The other crew members (not pictured) are Tyrone
Harris and Bill Crawford.
