 Recycling:A.E. Stone has been a certified Department of Environmental Protection recycling facility since 1980, the first in South Jersey to recycle asphalt. The company accepts construction materials such as asphalt, brick, block, and concrete. Recycled products such as RAP (Recycled Asphalt Pavement), DGA and 2 ½ drainage stone are available at a considerably lower cost than virgin aggregates. Aggregate Calculator  Hot Mix Operation:A.E. Stone provides New Jersey Department of Transportation approved hot mix asphalt, virgin aggregates and a variety of other materials. Two asphalt plants are in operation daily from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., but will open for extended periods at night by request. Paving: A.E. Stone's experience in paving includes small commercial parking lots, major highway projects requiring 200,000 tons of asphalt and everything in between. Contracts include grading, milling, reclaiming and stabilization. A.E. Stone has paved numerous municipal, county and state roads, as well as airport runways, school lots and bridges. The company is constantly finding innovative ways to market their high quality materials and state-of the-art equipment. Public Scales: There are two public scales available for truck weigh-ins during normal business hours. Specialty Sands: AE Stone produces a line of dry sands exclusively for Mitchell Products of Millville, NJ. These products include sand and sand/organic mixes used primarily for the golf course industry. Drying and storage facilities are also available to produce specialty sand gradations for both commercial and industrial applications. |
